He brings over 20 years of experience in the financial services industry.
Marco began his career at Dresdner Bank in Frankfurt as an advisor for high net worth individuals, followed by a senior sales role for Treasury/Securities solutions serving institutional clients.
From 2002 to 2005, Marco worked at Morgan Stanley Bank International Limited, where he successfully headed a team advising European family offices, foundations, and ultra-high-net-worth individuals on global asset allocation and investment management services.
In 2006, Marco joined EII Capital Management, Inc., New York—a multi-award winning investment management firm (including Lipper Fund Awards) specialized in global real estate securities and U.S. direct real estate investments—as Vice President Sales and Marketing Europe.
In 2007, he established the firm's European Sales and Marketing entity, EII Capital Management AG, and served as Managing Director until January 2017.
Marco received his economics degree from Bankakademie in 1999.
Subsequently, he held a teaching position at Frankfurt School of Finance (formerly Bankakademie) and served as an independent advisor on several investment committees.
He is also a hedge fund advisor for the European Business School and the Bundesverband Alternativer Investments.
